Erik focuses on providing comprehensive financial and investment planning for his clients through a customized approach tailored to meet the unique goals and circumstances of each individual client and their family. He also acts as advisor to corporate retirement plans and specializes in 401k and Cash Balance Defined Benefit plans.

His professional designations include the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation.

Throughout his career Erik's goal as a financial advisor has been to be a knowledgeable and trusted resource for his clients, providing straightforward advice and achieving results in today's complex financial world. As a CFP® practitioner, Erik's process is centered on bringing a comprehensive approach to his client's financial strategy: providing solutions in the areas of investment management, asset preservation, asset allocation, retirement planning, education planning, estate planning, and income strategies.

Erik has 10 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, beginning his career at Morgan Stanley and then Wells Fargo Advisors before joining Dogwood Wealth Advisors in 2015. He has a Bachelor's degree in History from Tulane University.

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Erik lives in the Morningside neighborhood of Atlanta with his wife Brianna, daughter Madeline, and their two dogs, Dante and Dolce. Erik and his family enjoy the outdoors and exploring the natural beauty of Georgia, and he is a member of the Friend's of Georgia State Parks and the Piedmont Park Conservancy. He is also a yearly supporter of several animal welfare organizations including the ASPCA, the Elephant Sanctuary, the Jane Goodall Institute, Farm Sanctuary, and Ruffus Rescue. His favorite leisure activities include spending time with his family and friends, cycling, and cooking Italian cuisine.
